History of the Line

The Stouffville–Uxbridge line was built in the 1860s by William Gooderham. The highest point of the line is on the Oak Ridges Moraine. Our trains run on this historic corridor and preserve classic rail travel.

We maintain rolling stock with volunteers and donations; the organization is a not-for-profit recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency.
